Spring & Summer Styles That Flatter Your Figure

Manic:  Trying to update and add a few warm weather pieces to my wardrobe, while staying on a budget and finding pieces that are flattering on me to boot.

Managed:  Interviewed my favorite fashion expert, Heather Cisek owner of both the Purple Skirt Boutique in Ahwatukee and Dominique R in Scottsdale to get the lowdown on the trends that are fashionable and flattering on our figures, too.  Heather taught me about the right kind of stripes to wear, how to make denim shorts work and more.  Plus I found some affordable fashions at Kohl’s, slimming undergarments and a line of dresses that the celebs wear that truly take you down a size or more.  I had fun doing my fashion research on this one, so check it out…

Go Green Fab Fashions & Products To Celebrate Earth Day 2013

Manic:  Me with my family when they fail to put recyclable items in the recycling bin!  Just ask them and they will tell you that I’m an unhappy Mama when they don’t practice green behavior.

April’s Ten Under $10 Drug Store Beauty Products

Manic:  Me in parts of this segment!  I do my KTVK segments every week and this week, it went well for the most part, but I did make two mistakes, which I don’t like to do!  So when you are watching, please note that the Skintimate is a lotionized shaving gel, not a lotion and that the got2b Beach Trippin Salt Infusing Waving Spray is just as I describe it, even if I did put the wrong got2b product on the table!  So if you watched this segment, did you catch my mistakes?

Managed:  Deciding to cut myself a break.  Since I do these TV segments every week (and have for the last 7 years or so), I am going to make mistakes sometimes.  I HATE making mistakes and my perfectionist daughter seems to be taking after me, for better or for worse, but the segment is still good to watch if you are looking for fabuolus beauty products that work well and all sell for under $10 each!

Spring Cleaning Closet Clutter Remedies

Manic:  My master bedroom closet!  It had gotten way out of hand….I could have been on the Hoarder’s show, I’m embarrassed to tell you!

Manic:  Sorting through some of the different smart phones on the market, understanding the new Keurig Vue coffee maker and more.  It seems like products are upgrading and changing (iPhone 4S to iPhone 5; Keurig’s new Vue) by the minute, so I end up testing a lot of products for this website and for my KTVK Channel 3 morning show segments.

Managed:  Picked some of the most interesting ones that I have tested to tell you which smart phone (in my opinion) is worth the money, whether or not to upgrade to the new Keurig coffee maker and more.  Plus I found a cool wine contraption and a curling wand that I love, so read on to see my most recent product testing reviews…
