rachel potterYou may have voted for her when she was a top 12 finalist on “The X Factor USA” or you may have seen her on Broadway in the role of Wednesday Addams in “The Addams Family” where she lit up the stage with her terrific performance. And Rachel Potter’s star continues to shine as she is now taking the country music industry by storm with her hit album called “Live The Dream” and her upcoming record, “Not So Black And White” hits store shelves soon, too.

Now your kids have the opportunity to personally meet Rachel and work with her in a workshop that is happening right here in Phoenix!  Rachel brings her Triple Threat talents to the local Ahwatukee Children’s Theatre (ACT) to offer several exciting workshops for kids ages 9 to 19.  So if your child is interested in a career in the performing arts, this is a unique and wonderful opportunity to learn from a pro, work with Rachel and even perform for her and ask her questions about the industry, her craft and more.  Here is Rachel at her “X Factor” audition where she blew the judges, including the tough to impress Simon Cowell, away…

Ages 9 – 13

9:00am – 12pm

Join ACT for this 3 hour workshop where your child will perform for Rachel and receive insightful feedback from her. She will also discuss “tricks of the trade”, performance and audition techniques and more! Please prepare a 2 minute vocal piece to present. Students will also receive a ticket to Rachel’s house concert that evening (address provided upon registration). Space is limited to only 20 students!
